Default Photoshop Elements 9

Hi everyone! I have Photoshop Elements 9 and have recently discovered that when I press CTRL "L" (to adjust the white) no longer works. Has this happened to any of you before? Should I uninstall and then re-install everything?

Thanks in advance,

Duane

Perhaps the Adobe forum that address Elements 9 would be of assistance.

I'm pretty sure I discovered the problem. After I press CTRL "L" I DIDN'T have "preview" selected. I selected it and tadaaa! It works!
Human error?? Naaahhh, not me
