Default Technical question - glue

Have any of you ever bonded glass to surfaces that have been painted with acrylics? What kind of glue did you use? *s*

Yep, I looked there, and there's no way to specify acrylic paint.

I'm worried that epoxies might damage the paint surface and cause it to pull away from the panel...

Hi Sharon,

Besides lampworking, I belong to "Pat's Paint Pals" or the "3P's" (I'm the youngest--I love these ladies!). Ok, no sarcastic remarks, we're a group that likes to get together paint (and paint beautifully, I might add). We use acrylics alot. Whenever we glue glass to acrylic painted surfaces, we use "Quick Grab" tacky glue (I thinks it's Aleene's). Works great. Bonds super quick. Haven't had any trouble. Our group also belongs to a huge general craft group that swears by the stuff in general use. Cheap, too. Hope that helps.

BTW, did you ever get rivets? PM me.
