Default hot head cleaning??

I know I saw a tutorial for cleaning my hot head somewhere but I can't find it. I haven't had any luck with the sight search. Does anybody know where it is??

Ty Eileen. This is not the tut I was thinking of either, but it was helpful. The one I remember had pictures, which I find useful since I am a visual learner.

Here is one from Wet Canvas;

I did not read through it thoroughly so it might not be what you are looking for.

Maybe it was on the HotheadSource web site under their technical info which looks like it doesn't come up anymore.

I just checked that earlier today and it was working. No videos there, though. It said that written instructions come with replacement parts; however, when I looked in my box of parts, I didn't see an instruction sheet. Also, no cleaning instructions come with the torch, only operating instructions.

Thank you all for your help. I cleaned the spud yesterday, but after several years of frequent/ pro-longed use it might just be time to buy a new one. ...Or I can wait for it to fail completely and try to convince Hubs that it's time to upgrade....
