Smile Post a pic of your hood?

I have a hood myself, but it's out in the garden (literally - we plopped it down out there when we moved in and haven't moved it since). I use a fan through the window to vent currently. I like my hood but it's really big and I want something smaller. If I can find a pic I'll post it.

I'm creating a new studio space and was thinking that since I'm upgrading my torch, I should probably get a different hood setup. Post a pic of yours, if you've got one! I need ideas. Thanks!

There is a gray cover over the opening (in front of the torch) to keep the cold air out when I'm not torching. The only thing I would change in this set-up is I would push it all back about 5-8 inches to give me a little more clearance. Tha part that is covered is a ducting reducer we had modified and my husband cut an opening on the side and added the hood flared part. I can post pics of it uncovered if you want to see it.

I like this kind of setup, Mina! We are thinking of doing a square fume collector like you have instead of a large hood. What kind of torch do you use? I'm going from a Mini CC to a Wildcat.

I use a mini cc. If my vent was set back a little it would accommodate a larger flame.
