Default Looking for a rare lampworking book...

Saw it far here on LE, but it was sold, and didn't write down the title.
It was about mixing colors to achieve effects, my mind says something about it was Japanese? ( Akihiro? ). I have searched and searched.. Any help would be appreciated!

Even suggestions as to other other books on this subject? I really need resource materials...

Thanks in advance!
Amanda

The only Japanese glass beadmaking book I've ever seen or gotten my hands on (that I can remember at the moment, anyway) is "Tonbo-Dama--Japanese Glass Beads" by Kogure Norikazu. It's a bilingual book on how to play around with Satake glass, particularly murrini-making and twisties, and it's just lovely. It isn't a cheap book (Artcoinc.com has it for $40) but it's worth it.

Thank you, those are neat, but not the book I am looking for... Deep sigh....
Should have paid more attention when I saw it, but it had been sold, and I figured it would come around again.... Year later, nothing, anywhere...

Could it possibly be Torchworked Marbles by Drew Fritts? There's a whole section on color mixing in the book.

Oh yes, Drew Fritts book has an amazing section on mixing colors. Here's the color chart that goes with his recipes.
