Default Sterling Wire Wrap Ring

DOes anyone have or know where to get the tutorial for wire wrap lampwork rings? You start with a lampwork bead and somehow twist silver wire into a ring. It was posted last fall and now I can't find it. Thanks!!!

here is the wire wrap ring I make.. I can't seem to open up the site where glassgoodies had hers... but here is what I do... just get a ring sizer stick.. and get sterling silver 18 gage wire... select the size you want.. put the wire thru the bead and wrap it around at the site where the ring size is.. and bring back it up and wrap around the bead several time.. same with other side.. then cut the wire ... and wrap it around both wires... til it is tucked away...

Default Wire Wrap Rings

For a couple of alternative ring versions, take a look at the video's that I had posted on our website a couple of months ago.

Default Wire wrap rings

I've found a great instructional book on wire wrapping to make jewelry including rings. It includes instructions on technique and suggestions for projects. It is called Bead on a Wire by Sharylin Miller.

I have Bead on a wire. Well I let the art teacher at the High school borrow it. I have to get it back. I don't remember it having rings in the one I have. Is there more than one of this book? I do love the book. It has so many ideas in it.

This lady has some really cool videos using wire wrap techniques - http://www.youtube.com/AuntiesBeads

I think she is doing a great job with her DIY videos.
