Default If You Could Buy Only One BellaDonna Color?

I'm curious if you could buy only one of the BellaDonna colors, which would it be and why? Pictures would be great too!

Black Diamond.

The BEST black in the world - you can pull out stringers so thin you can barely see them, and they go on perfectly and stay ink black. See JC Herrell's beads to see what they do over enamel.

Everybody in the flameworking world needs to have a 10-lb stash of this stuff!

Thanks Angie - they have a core of el cheapo glass, but it's covered entirely in Purplescent. And I found it very easy to reduce. Wafting it in and out of the reduction flame gives lots of lovely colors!

While you are at it, buy a little bag of Moody Blue frit. My personal favorite.

Gorgeous beads and fantastic color. I love this glass but stupidly, I only got it in frit trying to economize on the postage. Silly me.

Forgot this one - all Teal-icious. Amazing how many different hues it yields!

All Teal-icious, no encasement

Mary - I edited my post so you know what's encased and what's not. Hope that helps! See you next weekend.

Hayley: *DROOL*

Sheila: I'm not so good at reducing, are the "over reduced" ones the ones that are just silvery with no greenish coloring? If so, I wonder how I can stop over reducing all my reduction attempts, 'cause they all come out like that.

No...the over reduced ones are the swamp green color. They should have a just a nice shiny luster. Try just a little reducton at a time until you get the look you want.
