where is your propane tank?
Hello all. The question is probably stupid, but I want to ask where is your propane tank? If you are out of the house, do you always run out to turn the gas on and off? And your hoses run through the whole house? It seems awkward.

Mine sits on the deck in a plastic milk crate to keep it from tipping over. I have a quick disconnect/check valve attached to the regulator where I can simply disconnect and bring the hose back inside.

Mine is also on my deck, quick connects at the tank. I turn my tank on and off, takes a few seconds. I used to always bleed the line, disconnect the hoses, and toss them into the house through the window when I was done for the day. Now I have the hose enclosed in pool noodles and they stay outside all the time. I rigged some pvc and insulation to cover the 1" the window is open to accommodate the hose. Works for me. I would never have the propane in the house, and do not leave my tank on or my regulator pressured.
Never thought of putting the tank in a milk crate. Good idea.

outside the garage, with a hose running through an opening on the wall. I don't use quick connects but I probably should.

Oh, unfortunately, I still don't have enough posts to see the links.

Thank you for the photo. My regulator is attached to the hose and I connect it to the tank every time. Can I have another question about the quick disconnect/check valve, which one do you have? I started searching on Google, but there are so many suggestions ...

Mine is manufactured by Radnor, and is labeled for regulator to hose. You can also buy them for 'hose-to-hose' or 'torch-to-hose'. The actual description on the package is
B-size, 9/16"-18 UNF THREAD WITH REVERSE-FLOW CHECK VALVES

Hello everybody. Again a question. That's what I need? https://www.amazon.com/AGPTEK-Acetyl...14W698GY&psc=1 I am only embarrassed by what is written for oxygen and not for propane. Does it fit?
