Need help setting up MiniCC with OxyCon...
I admit that I know absolutely nothing about how to get this all set up, so I have decided to haul everything I have down to my local welding shop and get them to put all the parts together and show me how to assemble and disassemble the system.
What sort of questions should I be asking them? Are there any particular products or equipment that I should be asking for? Any help or suggestions would be wonderful!
I have:
MiniCC torch
OxyCon (will post the brand when I get home)
BBQ Propane tank
BBQ Propane hose (5' long)

Okay, I got all the parts I need, just looking for confirmation that I did this right.
I went to the local welding place with a friend who is a professional welder, and between the group of them, this is what they gave me.
I haven't had a chance to turn it on and test it out as there is a tornado warning here with severe lightning. Everything is unplugged.
Oh, and the pegs you see sticking out from the base of the torch will be replaced with bolts to hold the torch in place. I just put the mandrels there to make sure that I had drilled the holes in the right place.. Just waiting for the rain to end (torrential downpour) so I can go buy bolts that fit.
Anyone able to give me a quick heads up on how to set my regulator and oxycon settings?

set your reg around 6 and the lpm on your concentrator to 4.5 (unhook it to set the oxy or make sure your oxy valve on the torch is all the way open). Make adjustments as needed at the torch.

Thank you very much! Will try so when I can safely start plugging things in again... (I love my laptop, and it's very good battery!)

Propane tank should be outside, but "setup" looks correct....

The propane tank will not be outside, as there is no way to move the hoses back in. However, the building is the garage. And the propane sits outside when not in use. I talked to a former fireman, and he said that was perfectly legal and safe.

Fireman can be WRONG......... NFPA (Nation Fire Prevention Association) states any tank larger that #1 capacity can not be inside residence, AND if garage is attached to residence it is considered part of residence....
And yes you CAN separate hose so tank CAN be outside.....
Also I have noticed FIREMAN don't always know the codes and tend to take a very relaxed or indifferent attitude towards things flammable...... But then you are in Canada and I guess Canadian fireman don't care about YOUR safety....
You might also go to YOUTUBE and do search for "propane tank explosions" and watch a few videos........

I would put mine outside - separate the hoses like Dale mentions.
