Cool eye problem

Does anyone know of eye problems/diseases related to lampworking? My eyesight has become blurry in the center of my vision.

Are you wearing proper didymium glasses? If not then thats your problem. Go to a eye docter ( don't think that is proper english, but you know who I mean) Blurred central vision sounds like glaucoma. ( I am a MD)

Please don't mess around with your eyesight, and as Daphne said, go see someone to get it checked out.

I went to the doctor and eye doctor and found out mine was caused by diabetes.

Get on the phone and make a doctors Appt. and an eye doctor.

Diabetes stinks, I hate it.

Thanks, guys. I use rose dididium (?) glasses, and am careful to not look at the flame without them. I will make an appointment to see an eye doctor

Default Eye Problem

My Uncle never used any eye protection all his life. Sodium Yellow is a natural color your eye can deal with easily. Filtering lenses are simply for cutting the yellow so you can see what you are doing and how the glass is reacting.
Some of the colored glasses are much brighter than others, such as blacks, more metal in them manganese dioxide etc.
I would suggest a check up on your eyes the symptoms you describe are more like glaucoma or catartacts. You are at that age.
