Default Inspired by Pipyr

I haven't had much to show off lately. But I have been snoping and admiring all the talent. Totally inspired by Pipyr's latest, I thought I might give it a go.

The first one is a wind swept tree which I admit is like hers but not nearly as elegant looking. So thinking I wanted to create something that was unique to me, I came up with the abstract horse (of course I am crazy about horses) His registered name shall be "Pipyr's Inspiration"

and, and, and.......
from there, came this sick (and I don't mean sic!) little Kokopeli guy..

But they were fun and I will have to perfect the horse and Kokopeli..

Thanks for the nudge, Ms, Pipyr. You are quite the artist and a wonderful inspiration to us all....

Kay I think they are cute! I can totally see the horse! And the Kokopeli man is incredible! He's not sick at all!

I got back to the torch (borohood game - I had to!)
and came away with this - my first ever marble...

dang these are hard to photograph...

Beautiful work everyone!

I haven't been in here for a while - WOW!! You guys are amazing! Hopefully I'll be able to torch again soon now that spring has finally arrived! (I'm a wuss when it comes to cold weather.) I placed an order for new glass today to get the inspiration flowing!

Kim - you have SUCH a talent of taking things that others are doing
(beads on keys) and putting your own unique twist on it!
This is one of the coolest keys I've seen! You rock!

Touched??? More like a clean smack upside the head! I'm havin' a great time and wondering why I let my tiny stash sit for long!
And thank you for the compliment...

Thanks for the kind words about my keys. The picture doesn't show it, but this particular key has a "fire" to it, similar to opal. I do have some of the "normal" beads on keys, but don't list them on Etsy due to not wanting to step on toes Those I take to shows or put on my website....hmmm, got a few stockpiled, guess today will be picture and computer day I do try to be "different", though sometimes it is sooooo hard. (I LOVE blown vessels, but every time I do one it ends up looking too much like Tink's.....damn glass has a mind of its own sometimes ).
Thanks for a nice start to my morning!!!! I may not "talk" much here, but I always enjoy coming in this room and drooling over what you all are up to.

Wow! That key is really cool.
I have a few pieces that I want to electroform, but the kit is put away and no room to set it up right now.

Donna, love the beads.

Here's another marble from me.

Crappy pics, again. I obviously need to get out my photo cube too!

Kim, that key is the best I have seen. Very nice twist on this type of design. I am sure it is a lot prettier than it shows as I realize how hard it is to get that sparkle that glass sometimes produces..

Really nice marble, Dianna. Great spiraling design.

Heheh, you have to admit I'd be pretty damn good if those were my first beads ever! I just wanted to clarify, I kinda knew that you knew they weren't my very first beads. No hiding!
