Talking !July S&T!

i feel totally unqualified to start this...

But unlike with soft glass, I am actually kinda proud of what I make with boro!
So here goes.

20 random frit beads, kinda hard to capture the color today...

And my first boro marble!!!!

please be gentle!

In the boro room we usually have one for each month not everyday like in the gallery, but what ever you want the peeps are pretty laid back in this room. Nice marble beadsbybrat glad to hear you are going to be in the marble exchange.

cool, nice work already for the start of the month!

I'll throw this one into the mix, fresh out of the kiln,
new Xenomorph, over 53mm (2"+), concentrating on a more fleshy, visceral feel.

Love your work everyone...I'm stuck on a Hot Head and work only in soft, but admit I often have a bad case of boro-envy! Thanks for sharing your work...you keep me grounded!

Beadsbybrat, see no reason to be shy you did a great job on the frit bead set and marble.

Lizard, what a neat idea love how you incorporated all the different glass techniques.

Wickedglass those are really awesome, love them. Hope you draw my name at this years xmas party.

Hope to have something worthy to show this weekend.

just to clarify for people who are under the impression those are different marbles, all the photos are different aspects of the same marble, front, side and back

Nice Slyme! I just got a batch to play with recently from TAG and made a few slides with it. Expensive stuff, but what else looks like ghostbusters ectoplasma? Work it hot and you get transparent work it cool and you get slyme........... It really looks like a nice accent to those pendants.
