He cuts the dicho strip off - I was trying to melt it off with not so great results.

I can't get the video to work. (Don't have Flash on this computer and can't install it.) Is this the Don McKinney/CBS video? I saw it at the CBS booth at the Gathering. I talked to Don for a while, and he gave me a little (about 1/2" by 1 1/2") sample of dichro to try his method -- which is good, because I told him there was no way I was flashing the coated side in the flame if I had to try it with MINE. (But if you look on the video, he's definitely warming both sides of the strip.)
