Default Bright Red

I'm looking for a very vibrant bright red, any suggestions?

I second the Lauscha red! Sangre is a good option too.

Can either of these reds be used for dots and remain their beautiful color?

CIM Maraschino definitely. I do it all the time. Sadly, I don't take pictures of my beads much either so you can't see it.

Another vote for Maraschino! I've been known to abuse my reds but Maraschino stands up very well! It will turn slightly more opaque the more it is worked but I haven't noticed it losing it's brilliance.
