Default Buddha bead?

I have a customer who wants a glass buddha. The round happy type. Does anyone have any tips on how to make one? I would appreciate any input. I am not sure how I am going to get all the little details on there.
thank you

Not sure! But interesting.
I think I'd start with a basic figurine shape and add/cut from there to see where proportions go, like you would a goddess or any sculpture.
I've done Buddha heads, but from a tutorial I bought.

Are you talking about a full figure or just a face? I'm picturing a seated Buddha.
Start by finding good pictures of what you want to do (not necessarily glass beads), then plan from there.
