Default Reichenbach May Green

I am about to post some excess Reichenbach rods in the Garage. I was on Olypmic's page to copy and paste some photos since I'm a terrible photographer, I'm lazy and the colors show better in their photos.

Anyways - I have a color called May Green - R-179 that does not look at all like the photo they have on their website (Left).

It looks more like: (Right) which is R-178. It's a chartreuse. I noticed that the photo they have for the furnace glass page is more of a yellow-green.

Was it mis-labled or do the batches just vary widely.

I would like to know exactly which color I am selling.

Thanks,

Debbie

I don't think the batches vary that much, Debbie.

The rod color varies from batch to batch. I've ordered May Green several times and they never look the same. The appears much more consistent once it's been melted.

I should clarify, that I buy R-179 as frit and not rod.

I don't have any May green, myself. I had some yellow green and it wasn't either of those colors. I think you should break down and take a picture of the glass you have, Debbie. lol

You see what I mean? It doesn't look anything like OCR's photo.

That's the May Green that I have. It's a gorgeous color if you like that kind of thing.

Debbie
If you have a photo editing program you could lighten the background up a bit and your photo would be OK

It was just to show the color, which even if I lighten it, will still be chartreuse.
