Oxycon just went off???
Hey All,
Just asked my friend Char, and she told me to post here to see if anyone can help me.. I am in the upstairs of a barn/shed, and i have good ventelation...I have an ac unit up there and it is reading 103, i got 2 beads done, and my oxycon stopped running and the alarm sounded. Is it just too hot tonight? Will it be o.k.?

have you changed/cleaned your filters lately?
Will it restart if you turn it back on?
Will it run if you disconnect everything from it and turn it on?

Penny, I think it's possible that the electronics are hot. It was 102 here during the hottest part of the day and it had to be even hotter in your barn studio. Turn a fan on and point it at the concentrator for a while. Leave the air conditioner on up there and set the concentrator on the floor in front of it. Try turning it on a little later after it's had time to cool down.
I don't know enough about concentrators to tell you what else to check. PM kbinkster with a link to this thread and see if she can give you any other tips.

Hi Rachels Mom its probally a combo of the heat and humidity in your area I find that my oxy cons really dont like humidity (dont like real cold weather either) or real hot heat.....double wammy being out there in SC and being in a barn I think....*hugs* maybe if it cools off at night it might work a bit better for yea.

Oh yeah! It's working. My torch buddy is still in business... Whew!! Of course, you know where to come if you're ever desperate and need to make beads...
