ARE YOU UP FOR A CHALLENGE?

The American Association of Woodturners (AAW) challenges lampwork bead artists to make and contribute enough beads to fill a handcrafted truck made by the AAW’s Minnesota Association of Woodturners chapter.

Will bead artists be able to match the number of handcrafted containers made by woodturners? The challenge is on!

Your handmade bead donations and the AAW’s woodturned containers will be showcased at the AAW’s 30st Annual International Symposium in Atlanta this June and, after the symposium, will be donated to Beads of Courage to support children and teens battling serious illness. We invite you to be part of this fun and inspiring challenge!

Please complete the donation form on the Beads Of Courage Artist Programs Facebook group page (or message me here) and send with your bead donations so Beads of Courage may recognize your participation and send you a receipt of donation.

All beads must be mailed directly to the AAW address below no later than Friday, March 11, 2016.

ATTN: Linda Ferber
American Association of Woodturners
75 5th Street West, 222 Landmark Center
Saint Paul, MN 55102

Participating artists (woodturners and bead artists) will receive a Beads of Courage Artist sticker and appreciation certificate. All donations are tax-deductible within IRS guidelines. BOC Tax ID No. 20-2721500

Hi Renee,

Do you have any idea what volume of beads would be required to nicely fill one of those adorable trucks?
