Default 2nd floor propane connect

I just moved and now have to bead from a second story room. I was running my hose out the window and down to my propane tank on the ground below. Today I received a letter from our home owners association telling me that I am in violation of some code and I can't have the hose sticking out of my window. Any suggestions? My husband wants me to have a copper pipe run through the wall and connect the hoses at both ends? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I also have to do something about my exhaust! I have a great exhaust fan which I have the piping in and out of the window when I am working. I guess I will just have to pay to have an exhaust vent put in the wall?

Thanks for any suggestions,
Pat g

Your husband has it pretty well nailed down... Putting in proper metal piping is the right way to go, just be sure homeowners association is going to allow it before you proceed....

And Yes it would be better if your ventilation exhaust went out through proper wall "vent".

Dale,

Thanks for the second motion to my hubby's suggestion. I already have the HOV guy coming out tomorrow morning to give me prices on the permanent exhaust and the piping. I do have natural gas here, but run a GTT Lynx and didn't think the gas would be adequate for the torch.

Thanks for the response,
Pat

Believe the GTT LYNX will run on Natural Gas, but it requires a pressure of about 2 psi which brings up supply issues (gettingt local pressure boosted to useable level)
