Default NIK software bought by Google

Google bought the NIK software and is selling it for 149. use to be 499. I paid more for mine and
this is a good price.??

Check this announcement. If you purchased some of the NIK plugins earlier you might be able to complete the package for FREE. The articles describes what they are willing to do.

In my view you wouldn't. To get good pictures for Etsy you need the basic processing provided by most image processors (Photoshop, PaintShop Pro, Photoshop Elements, Picassa). Most of the NIK software plugins are for creating special effects.

By the way, NIK works with Photoshop Elements and PaintShop Pro as well as Photoshop.
