Another vote for Zoozii's straight sided lentil. I have the "slim" version of the trio.

Love Kat's lentils. They are so slim, such a nice feel after you make one.

I recognize Zoozii (sadly, I can't get to her site from work) but I don't know, who is Kat?

I assume Cattwalk Tools.

http://www.cattwalk.com/

You will find all kinds of things to drool over on Catt's site.

Whatever lentil press you go with, have a good look at the thickness/thinness of the press. Some are very deep and use so much glass while there are some out there that are so thin that you have some cracking issues.

I have at least five lentil presses and have never had an issue.

My faves are the straight sided lentils, they give the best bead hole

I have lentil presses from both zooziis and CattWalk. I love them both, but tend to use the CattWalk one more. Maybe because it was the first press I ever bought, and the base is always set up on my table with one of my many CattWalk tools in it. You don't have to buy a base for any of Zooziis tools. So that may be a plus for some. I find that it's just what you get used to. They both are quality tools. Worth their weight in gold. Just MHO.
