Default Can I go back and forth

between LP and acetylene with the same regulator?

I am in FL and forgot my regulator for my LP/oxy glass torch. Walt will be home on Wed and can ship me the regulator but I was wondering..... in the mean time.

If you have an adjustable regulator, 0 to 15 psi, that was made for acetylene, it is no problem. If you have a fixed pressure, pancake style regulator, commonly used on gas grills, these are made for propane only - do not use this with acetylene.

Thank you!
But can I use it for both torches? Just move it back and forth?
It is the adjustable regulator that I got with my Smith torch. I just need to use it for a few days for my Minor until my DH send the regular one to me.
