Hot Head friendly frit that simulates raku

Anyone know of one? I just can't get raku to do anything on my HH no matter how hard I try. I guess I could try to make my own. I'm just looking for a frit with the colors in raku when it's done right. But if there's one out there that's already mixed and ready to go that would be easier!

You might try Reichenbach 104 Multicolor or Magic frit.

It's funny I had no problems with Raku on my HH. But now I can't get it to do much at all. I didn't even know raku was a hard frit to work with for at least a year! It was the first frit I ever bought.

ETA Sorry But I don't have any tips to help you out. I didn't think I was doing anything special. Have you tried holding the bead colse to the head of the torch then cooling then holding it in the outer edges?

I've read Dawn Scannell's tips, and other people's as well but all I get is tan and brown tones with the occasional bit of blue or purple. Instead of fighting with it I'd rather work on my stringer control. I just like the colors. I'll check out the Reichenbach, and I may try to make my own. I actually make my own frit every so often!
