Default CIM Celedon or Moretti Grasshopper?

I'm looking for a mint green opaque glass, one without much yellow in it. These two both look good so I'm wondering if anyone has used them and which has the least amount of yellow. Pics would be great. Thanks!

Grasshopper is a true greener mint green but I have to say I love the CIM Celedon because it is paler and just gorgeous. I have not noticed a yellow hue to either of them.

I can make a paddle of both today and post some pics side by side for ya.

That would be great! I only have the pics you see on the glass retailer sites and it's hard to tell the real difference.

Thanks!

I have used both and really I prefer CiM. I'm not looking at it right now so I can't tell you which is more yellow but CiM has a really nice flow to it. The only thing to know is that the CiM colors (especially the green spectrum) tend to run together and create some "unusual" effects when they come into contact with other opaques so take that into consideration for what you need to use it for. This is actually kind of a nice effect with frits and such, though.

Celadon is really more of a greenish turquoise than a mint green though. (But gorgeous!)

If I wanted mint green, I'd use the grasshopper.

I just made these with some Grasshopper. I find it lighter and yellower than Celadon, if it can help

This one has both Celadon and Celadon unique (darker). I had a lot of trouble to balance the colors on this pic, it was too blue

And then of course, there's Seafoam Green...

Hm, Grasshopper looks a little too blue. So I guess it will be the Celedon. Thanks!

You can get it at www.checkglass.com
Yes, it's 104 and compatible with Effetre. There are a handful of colors that aren't though. Mint is a compatible color and just lovely.
