photo from phone
I am not sure that this is something that can be done but I am not very technical so I have to ask. is it possible to take a photo on my i-phone and post it here on the forums without going to the computer first?

I asked this question in the Bathroom before I had the baby (I knew there would be hell to pay if I didn't post baby pics. LOL). The answer is the Photobucket App.
- You upload your pic to the PhotoBucket app... then choose that pic from your "albums"
- Then, once you have that pic open, click on the little "i" icon on the bottom right corner. It will list all of the URL codes for the pic
- Click on and copy the "direct" URL
- Go to the LE gallery you want to post in. Instead of a "quick reply", choose "Go advanced" from the buttons below the text box.
- When you want to insert your pic, click on the little icon above the text box that looks like a pic of mountains. It asks you for the URL. Delete out everything in the box (the "Http://" part is a duplicate to part of what you copied.) and paste in the URL you copied.
- Click "post reply" and you are done. Pic uploaded!

Keep in mind the accepted image file types and upload size restriction imposed by LE.

Yep. You can configure what size photobucket uploads at by going into photobucket's settings and selecting a smaller size as your default.

All of my post are from an Android phone. I'm sure it will work on an iPhone.
Download a free photo reduction app.
In the UCP select uploaded image manager.
When you "choose file" you should have the option of selection the photo reduction app.
select your gallery next, then the photo.
Reduce to accepted size (usually VGA option for me), and hit done. That takes me back to the upload option.
It's easier than it sounds, and it's easier than using photobucket. In my opinion anyway. You may not like it, who knows.
