Are you talking 104 COE?

I have very little CIM but I hear they have some good ones. Double Helix purple transparent is lovely, and I also like Effetre violets (light and dark).

Opaque - my favorite of those I have tried would be the Reichenbach Purple Rose or Lilac (Maybe it is called Lilac Red?) but I don't think they are in stock right now in lampwork cane. You could probably get a bar of 96 and pull it down if you use 96.

In order of preference: CIM crocus, Reichenbach purple rose, Effetre silver plum

DH gold violet Theia (not dark, I don't really care for that, for some reason) transparent
CIM Lapis (Discontinued - dc) opaque
Eff lt & dk violet transparent
Rbach 104 purple rose, devit is a pita, reactive with other colors but great on it's own, a little dark. Opaque
CIM Thai Orchid OOP
EDP! I use it whenever I can, gorgeous color but reactive, devits, etc

layers are good too

For boro artists, that royal jelly and gold amethyst from molten aura are killer transparent purples!

For me it's another vote for CiM Lapis and for the transparent it's either Trapeze or Effetre dark violet
