Ali VandeGrift does scientific glassblowing. Not sure if she does custom work like that or not. There may be others on here as well.

Why don't you ask Christian or Alastair Mead from NZ? Or Cas? Or maybe Jo Wu in Canberra?I added you to the Aussie/Kiwi boro group on FB, we've got a few "proper" lampworkers there now.

Thanks Vira, the guy is in the US, he lives there part of the year and on KI the rest but he wants the bottle as a wedding gift for a friend in the US, anyway he has found a maker now, so thanks for all the suggestions.

I don't understand why you don't just order one from the link on your original post. Are you looking for people who will copy this guys amazing work? Or did he stop selling? I have wanted one of his beer mugs since before I got into glass.

If KI is in Australia, Jo's working at a University in Australia now. She's not on LE much anymore but I can get in touch with her if you like. She's into scientific glass... well, that's way to simple for what she does these days but she might be interested in helping. I know she's got time in a hot shop for relaxation.
