Default Video Tutorial --Ethereal Frit Bead

https://www.youtube.com/attribution_...are_video_user

I've made and uploaded to Youtube, a 6-minute video where I demonstrate how to make a layered frit bead with ethereal qualities. I am using a frit blend of Jellyfish, but this same technique would have similar results with many types of reactive, transparent frit colors which you likely already have in your studio.

Enjoy and feel free to let me know if you need clarification!

Val

Edited to add: Val, do we need to use leaded 96 clear to get the effect?

Great question! No, the leaded clear has nothing to do with the effect. You can use any of your clear glasses, I was using 96coe cane with this particular blend (jellyfish) instead of 104coe (which I test the frit blends against) because the main component glass is from an American studio and the coe appears just a little lower than the typical German glass frit I use, and I had some occasional cracking, so was just being cautious!
