setting up on the balcony
Hi All,
I am looking at setting up a work area on my balcony at home.
I live in an apartment, on the 2nd of three floors and the balcony would be large enough to accommodate a smallish workspace.
I work on a hothead, and make mostly small to medium sized beads.
My biggest safety concern is ventilation. (The building allows gas barbecues so I dont think having a small lpg tank will be a problem.
the balcony area is quite exposed, so I was thinking about having some kind of small screen to minimise the wind effects, but then will there be enough ventilation?
Any advice would be appreciated!

I highly doubt it will be allowed if the complex knows about it.

hi, thanks for the responses. I will need to check the by-laws of the strata, however they allow gas barbecues on the balcony and im taking this as a positive sign.
the last block i lived in didnt allow barbecues!

You will probably find bbq's and torches are not viewed the same with the powers that be.
Since you're outside, you should be ok on ventillation. Can't get much better than the wind but you may find it affects your torch flames by them being blown around.
Good luck.
