Kimberly @ Pyronamix may be re-stocked. PM her through LE under KBinkster to check.

You could also try contacting Chart Sequal's customer service. Hmm... at the moment I'm not finding my notes on my chat with them but I contacted them through their website and they got back with me in a couple of hours. Since I purchased my Regalia through Pyronamix, Chart Sequal's customer service looked up my Regalia from my serial number. The warranties expire after 3 years. I stopped by the Service Center in Greenville SC and it turns out my Regalia is fine but if you're close to the warranty expiration, you may want to see if you can get it serviced. BTW the techs at The Service Center were lovely to deal with.

Also are you looking for the top filter or the internal filter? PM me if you're looking for the internal.

Did you find the Regalia filters? I ordered some from Kimberly around April and she refunded my money and sent a message to order them in May. I still need to get them. My Regalia hasn't performed good since I got it, and have had a difficult time finding out how to check if something is wrong with it. If you found the filters, let me know. Otherwise, I'll most likely contact the company for them and some help in finding out if something is wrong with mine.

I had some filters on order and when they were ready, the price was considerably different than what I was originally quoted (which was already a substantial increase from what it was before SeQual was bought out by Chart). I am trying to find a better price on the filters elsewhere.

Vickie, I had sent you a message asking some detailed questions about your Regalia and don't recall getting a response. I will double check my FB messages and email just in case I missed something. I am unclear if there is a performance problem or if it is just not powering your torch as much as you would like. If I recall correctly, you were asking about adding another machine to supplement the Regalia.

At any rate, unless you have put 2,000 to 4,000 hours on your machine, you should not need to replace the filters. If there is something wrong with the machine, you are covered by the warranty.

Kimberly,
When I was communicating with you, your email didn't work. My emails to you were sent back. I don't communicate much through FB or LE and don't like to rely on those for important stuff like my Regalia concerns. I only wrote here after seeing a post about the filters since you didn't have them and sent my payment back, and I'm glad to see you posting. I am still looking for the filters, and would think it's in the best interest of Sequal to have owners maintain their concentrators that are covered by warranty. As far as performance of the Regalia, I will be honest and say that I am very disappointed in the performance of mine. I didn't know if it was the NEW concentrator or the NEW Scorpion, so I called Wally and he had me send my torch back to be checked out. It came back as 100%. I'm just trying to have anyone help me find out if my Regalia isn't performing as expected, or if this set up sucks. I ran the Scorpion on tanked oxygen to test the torch and it worked great.

If you are still in the concentrator business and would like to give me some information on how to check the Regalia and how to get the filters, I would appreciate that. My email is

I emailed them - haven't heard yet. Kim was supposed to be ordering some. but her mailbox is full. She says use her facebook, but I don't know how to do it. I'll let you know if I hear from the other source. iT shouldn't be this hard to maintain your machine!! I haven't had problems with mine.

Kim,
For God's sake please empty out your mail box. It's full and I can't send a message. And don't tell me to use facebook. I don't have your page. Nothing can be that important from LE, unless they're orders, that it has to take up all the room in your mail.

Default Great News.

In response to this thread, I just contacted Chart Sequal on the phone. I spoke to Mark Scott who was wonderful and listened to my concerns. He gave me a lot of advice and the numbers for contacting customer service for the filters. I am thrilled to be able to talk to a person instead of feeling on my own with issues with this new machine. He will be at the Gathering next week for those who might be there. I hope this information helps everyone who needs it.

How often are the filters on a Regalia supposed to be changed? And is this the filter on the top of the machine that is accessible we are talking about?

Angie I'd like to know the same thing.
Guess it depends on how dusty your space is .. once a week. On Sequals website the only filter to maintain (wash) is the foam one at the top of the unit.
Is there an inlet style filter inside the unit as well??

The Regalia has two filters. There's the visible one on the top and there's one on the inside. When I took my Regalia to the Service Center, they didn't give me an exact number of hours but they did say it shouldn't need replacing for 1,000s of hours. The one on the top can be washed (thoroughly dried before using) and/or vacuumed on a regular basis. I vacuum that one at least once a week when I do my regular vacuuming. I also take it off and gently vacuum under it since there's lots of cat hair around my place. The Service Center guys didn't think either of my filters needed replacing.

The one on top, the cabinet filter, needs to be washed or blown out as needed. If you wash it, make sure that it is completely dry before replacing it. How often that is depends on how dusty/dirty your studio is. I would say once every one to two weeks is average. You don't really need to replace it until it starts to wear. I usually recommend replacing it once a year, but, again, that depends on your studio conditions.

The internal filter, the compressor inlet filter, should be replaced between 2,000 to 4,000 hours. Again, how soon will depend on the conditions of your studio and how much dust and dirt you have in the air there.

I'm sorry about that. I have made some room.

I have been in and out quite a bit and require my desktop computer to download my messages before deleting them. I cannot do that on my mobile device.

My email is functioning. So, if anyone needs to contact me via email, I can be reached at kimberly@pyronamix(dot)com. Please know that it may take a little while to get back to you right now and for the next month, or so.

I'm sorry for not being around as much the last few months. I don't need to go into the details, but suffice to say, I have been preoccupied with things that are indeed more important than orders (not that there have been many of those in this economy). I wouldn't have been so unresponsive under normal circumstances. It's just taking a while to get back to normal after all that has happened.

Oh, and one more thing regarding the content of my PM box... it is usually filled with requests for information and my responses. I get PMs from people wanting to know what torch will run with what machine because they are going to buy a machine from someone else and would like to know. Or, they just want to know what a machine can do or which machine is best because they want to buy one from someone else and that someone else cannot tell them what they need to know. At least those people are upfront and I could put off answering them until after I answered the others. Any more, however, I won't answer those questions.

Other people, however, write me and go back and forth with very detailed questions requiring very detailed answers, all the while telling me how much they appreciate all I have contributed and how they intend to buy from me, only to buy from another source because the price is too good to pass up.

Then, I get to read and answer questions about where to take machines that I did not sell when they break down.

Believe it or not, I have not received many orders for the last year despite all the effort I had been putting into this business (up until earlier this year). It has just not been worth running. I cannot compete with the people who sell second rate goods at cut rate prices. The people who appreciate quality and buy quality are fewer and further between now more than ever before and even they are swayed to buy other machines because of the pricing.

The order I may get here or there is not enough to keep up with my business expenses. And as for filters, I rarely receive filter orders. Rarely. It is hard to put a lot of effort or resources into that aspect of the business when the business as a whole is suffering.

I have been pretty burned out for quite a while and with the personal stuff added to the mix, it has been taking quite a bit out of me. I am in the middle of deciding whether or not I want to continue this business. With the added family demands I am now facing, it makes it even harder to stay.

Vickie, I'm sorry. I dropped the ball with you.

I found your video and your Scorpion looks like it is running like it should on the Regalia. I showed it to my husband, Willy (his company manufactures the Scorpion), and he agreed. Judging by what we saw on your video, the Regalia is performing as we would expect it to.

There are some other things that could be going on and I will try to get an email out to you today to discuss what might be going on.

At any rate, you do not need any new filters.

My last communication from Chart Sequal on the performance of my Regalia was to test it with an oxygen analyzer. I looked up the model of the tester they recommended and it's $600.00!

for help. I spoke to Larry and thank God he was patient and knowledgeable about helping with my situation. I asked about filters and YES they do carry them. Then I asked about how to figure out if my Regalia was running properly. Then I needed some advice on what to add to my Regalia, to get my set up to run as I expected when I bought the thing. I told him that I wasn't the only one that is disappointed in our set ups and that we all need help. I got some good advice and learned a lot from his experience in this industry. Most importantly, Larry took the time to LISTEN. He understood that after paying a considerable amount of money and my Regalia not doing what I needed, it was important to find a reasonable solution so that I can get back to working efficiently at my bench. I do glass for a living, so this frustration builds daily as I struggle to do the things I thought I would be able to do, but can't.
For concentrator people, I just want to pass on the recommendation that you at least check out Oxygen Plus and speak to Larry, I'm glad I did. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me through my email.

I need to get them. I have not performed well the rich, because I got it, and have a difficult time to find out how to check if something is wrong. If you find the filter, let me know.

I don't like posting negative things online, I will just say that I received no customer service from the person I purchased my Regalia from, or from the manufacturer. I have gone through my set up again from the beginning and so far I'm using it, but I know I will need another unit. My plan is to deal with Oxygen Plus, after my show in November, in hopes of getting the set up I need and the customer service if ever needed. So far, Oxygen Plus has been more helpful to me than the person I bought the machine from, they have earned my business as far as I'm concerned.

Not trying to have you do that Vickie. I was just wondering what the outcome was. I suspect you are falling pray to the Specsmanship that exists in this area. Keep in mind that there are few guidelines for using these and a lot of folks look to the archives to make decisions. Details of your experience may in the future save someone else from making bad purchases.

You are correct about looking to archives to make decisions. I did that and because I heard so many rave reviews I felt safe with the decision I made. Since then, I've heard privately that I'm not the only one in this situation. Wally of GTT was the first to help me by having me send my new torch back and recheck it to make sure I could eliminate that as one of my problems. I worked on it with tanked oxygen for a month to know it's full performance before hooking up the Regalia so that I would have some kind of performance comparison. My personal opinion....the Regalia is not enough to fully run the Scorpion for those of us who want a decent/workable outer flame. My problem was that it wasn't running the Cricket part of my torch well at all times, which the Regalia (10 lpm) should do with no problem. I have since redone my set up and testing to see if this new change will continue to run my center fire until I get another concentrator to go with the Regalia. The problem is that the "new" Regalia was very expensive to find out that it needs another concentrator to work efficiently with the Scorpion. As a stand alone unit for other torches, it seems like a good option, but then again, for the price new, you can get two similar units for full power with the same warrantly and probably better customer service.

Do you have any insight to some answers? Are you looking for insight for a future purchase? Again, I don't want to say much publicly that is negative, I would rather concentrate on a solution, and those that can help me with it. Anyone could PM me for any questions or answers they might have. Please keep in mind that anything I'm saying is from personal experience or just my personal opinion.

Vickie, that is untrue.

I am sorry that I could not provide you quicker or better service than I did at the time, or that you were unhappy with what I told you, but to say that I provided NO customer service to you is unfair and untrue. I spent a lot of time reviewing your emails, Facebook messages, and video and put a lot of thought into answering them. I gave you my opinions and suggestions. I tried to troubleshoot as best I could.

It is also untrue that SeQual provided you no customer service. The last I heard, SeQual had set it up for you to return your unit to be inspected. If there were a problem with the machine, it should have been covered by the warranty. If you have not returned the machine for them to inspect and repair if needed, then I don't know how else they could have helped you.

I am glad that you like Oxygen Plus and hope that you enjoy their customer service for whatever product you choose to purchase from them.
