Default canon rebel xsi dslr

great news! I got a fantastic deal on a canon rebel xsi dslr at circuit city, last one on the shelf and it takes really great photos...not so great news- I desperately need a macro lens for taking bead pics and the one I want costs more that I paid for my camera- sheesh

Here are my first bead photos with the new camera, and then one with my old camera- dear olympus digital that worked itself into retirement in three short years, I can be hard on them lol. The Olympus has a super macro zoom feature that got me right in up close on the beads... I miss that.

Great news!

I found an awesome starter macro lens on the cheap!
Ps I posted this info in case anyone
A)has a canon rebel and has tips for me
B) Is thinking of getting one or an slr and would like to see some pics taken with it

If anyone would like the macro info pm or post and I would be happy to share the info =)

check ebay, i was able to get a used lens pretty reasonable.

Yeah I did find mine on Ebay, I ended up purchasing a Phoenix macro :
