Hey Rob,

Thats me alright. The fingers are doing wonderfully. That was a one time learning experience for sure! It's a blast learning something new and the glass really lends itself to creativity.

There are a number of really helpful people on youtube who have been very helpful and willing to share. Same goes for these forums as well.

Yeah, I watch acro`s videos all the time.

If you ever get into boro bead making and have questions let me know. I`ll be happy to answer.

Yeah, he's got some good videos and really helps a lot. Thanks for the offer with the beads. I've not done many beads but after seeing some of the cool beads that can be done with boro, I'm going to have to make some.

PM Sent, I think...

I did try a couple boro beads and was pondering how much more heat the boro takes to get a round bead when I noticed the end of the mandrel succumbing to gravity. I need bigger mandrels and better heat control I guess.

Keep your bead on top of the flame. It helps the bead soak up more heat but also for me its easier to see when the mandrel is getting hot or at least I pay attention to it more. You will get the hang of it!
