Default gilson opals

I recently read how to apply these opals..they used boro tubing. Can you also use regular 104 clear to encase them if they are place on a bead?

thanx ...glad I didn't try it with 104. Do you know if you have to use tubing or could you make a boro bead..pick up the opal with a clear boro rod and place on the bead then finish encasing it?

Sorry, off topic. Both of your avatars, (Babies), are just too cute!

Where do you get them? Someone has asked me if I can make her a pendant with one. But I have no clue where to get them.

Here is a place that has them. They also have a tutorial on using them and a FAQ page for glassblowers.

Having said that, I've never worked with them, don't use boro, nor have I ever purchased from these folks.

(If the link doesn't work, edit the s out of your browser. It should be "http" not "https" Sometimes LE put in an S just for the heck of it.)
