Where can I buy brass frit? Mike's Frit for Glass no longer shows up on a google search.

Devardi glass has it, but I did not buy myself.

Thanks for the tutorial. Great idea. Wonder if it will work with silver shavings. I have a lot left over from metal smithing.

I've used silver frit, surface & encased, and never had it make bubbles. But it does make gorgeous beads.

Would this work with bronze powder?

I purchased brass frit from Devardi’s. I keep getting black specs along with the lovely golden bubbles in my beads, even though I’m pretty careful about not applying any direct heat to the frit, and encasing well outside the flame. Anyone having the same problem????
Thanks.

Look at it really carefully, maybe even a magnifying glass in case of debris mixed in?

That’s what I’m afraid of. I guess I’ll drag a magnet through the frit to try and clear out any other metal bits. Thanks, Eileen!

Here's some from me. Not the greatest results but I'm going to keep practicing.

Thanks for this tutorial!!
Hubby brought me some brass shavings from his key machine from work and I was trying to figure out how to use it to make a bead.
