Default Gold colored glass coe 104

Without using gold leaf, what are the best colors to get a gold colored glass, preferable encased? I have made gold colored glass with silver leaf in the past but I can not remember what colors I used!

Thanks!

Encased in amber maybe? or if you don't want the amber, I have used Aether over silver foil and it turned it a gold color. I tried a couple of times, and some didn't turn, so I'm not sure if it was the wrong heat, or if I grabbed a rod that really wasn't Aether.

I've used CIM Sepia to cover silver foil. Can't find the picture. Also Effetre straw yellow over gold dichro is a nice sparkly gold.

eta- found it. This is Sepia over silver foil. I can't remember what black I used but they all cracked. Sandwiching silver between sepia should work though.

You guys are THE BEST. I think I had used some silver glass in the past with the silver leaf but I love all of these! I will see what I have to avoid buying glass.(did I just say avoid buying glass? I must have a fever. . . )

Melanie Graham has a selection of glasses turning silver golden (there is a test with silver with each colour) in her amazing blog http://melanie-graham.blogspot.ru/se...ilver%20golden
