I've got a 6 point and end up striping in between also. See, someone else will get to benefit from your poll and order more points then they thought they would need. If you have more points then you need you can just bypass a few. More viewpoints? TIM

I bought mine directly from Steinert because I thought I'd buy directly from the source. Mistake. They completely hosed me on the shipping, which I didn't findout about until I received the shipping notice in the mail - after I received the mold.
Glasscraft has several nice molds that are somewhat lower-priced. I can't remember if they have the 12-pt star, though.
