Question HELP! My concentrator won't stop beeping at me!

UPDATE:
All fixed thanks to Justin L. - The Boy Wonder!
He called me and talked me through removing this cover:

taking the thing apart, cleaning and putting it back together.

It turns out that it was frozen up and needed lubicating.
Thank you Justin, you are awesome!

Last night I started to make beads and in the middle of my first bead, the power went out. I shut everything down and this morning when I tried to get up and running again, all my concentrator will do is one long sustained "beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep". Is there a reset button somewhere or do I need to try and find someone to look at it for me?

It is a MOBILAIRE V by Invacare

Thanks for any suggestions!

Did you push the reset button? Do you know what caused the outage?

I can't find any reset button. I think a squirrel got fried in one of the transformers down the street causing the outage.

It should be right next to the power switch.

All there is, is the power switch. I thought maybe there is a reset switch somewhere in the inner workings and that is why I showed the pictures up in my first posting.

Check the fuse in the electrical panel.

Down by the power cord, you will see a round grey thing with a slit in it. Put a screwdriver there and turn it counterclockwise. In there is a fuse. Test it with a multimeter to see if it carries current. if not, that can cause your problem. Click the link for a picture of what I mean. Be careful, the picture is big!

oh yeah, make sure the machine is unplugged when you do so. It should be a ceramic fuse so I doubt you will be able to see the filament inside.

Thanks, Justin, for the photo! I checked the fuse and it is fine. The darned machine starts up like normal and then after about ten seconds it goes into a sustained beeeeep.

I'd guess valve failure, or compressor failure

Edit: if you want to PM me with a number I can call you to trouble shoot the problem

Do you gave in plugged in to a power strip? I just had what seemed like the exact problem with mine - same model and everything. The power blipped. Then nothing but trouble after that. It turns out the power strip had gone bad. I went to the store and bought another one and now my problem is gone. I hope your problem isn't the concentrator itself.

Thanks Justin for the tip about the fuse. Good info to know.

well I gave her some tips on some preventative maintenance to maybe help her machine, and she thinks she located an air leak which will definitely cause this problem. Hopefully if that gets fixed, she'll be back in business!

Thank you SO much Justin! My machine is breathing on its own again! It was suffering from stiffening of the arteries.

Nope, it was all froze up and that little spinny thing wouldn't turn. It didn't even come out when I took that thing apart and turned it on for a second. I had to use a swab, stuff it in, wiggle it about and then it pulled out. It was stuck good! A little cooking oik and I was back in business.
Thank you again, so much for your help!

no problem! A LOT of times with these machines there are problems or symptoms that no repair manual can help diagnose....only experience
