Default Help With GonG Ground Joint Seals

I have been working with glass for a little over a year now, and I am beginning to learn how to make mini tubes. I am using Lenz ground joints right now with my work, and I am running into issues with seals on my tubes. When I make my tubes with a fixed downstem, there seems be a lot of stress I can't work out of the seal.

I am curious if anyone has any tips, tricks, or techniques with these seals, or advice on ways to clean up these seals.

Thanks in advance!

I can't tell much from the video but I always use a male joint as a holder. I seal a 4 MM rod to the joint at some point and make bridge. After you make your initial seal attach that 4 MM rod to the main tube so now when you weld the joint can't move. Use gravity to work seal , turn the piece multiple directions so the glass flows where you want.
