Question Trouble with Clio Silver Glass

I was hoping one of you could help me figure out why my Clio beads are very blue/green instead of pink. I also see red, which I am guess is coming from the striking orange.

This bead is layered on white, then striking orange, then Clio, followed by encasing in clear. I added too much glass, I did not realize how big this bead was going to end up, but at least I can see all the details.

Steps:
So, I tried to heat up the Clio until it was very bright orange, but I didn't let it get droopy (should I go further). Then I reduced it until it started turning opaque (should I go further here). Then I covered it with clear without putting it into the flame. Once covered I gently worked it until I had my shape.

The Bead is a little wonky but I was really hoping to see pink this morning.

If you want more pink, you need less reduction.

I second what Jamie says. Stop reducing as soon as you see a reduction sheen.

Put a layer of clear between the orange and cleo.

What they said. Very light reduction, a layer of clear between the orange and Clio and what clear are you using? For me Zephyr works best. It doesn't react with the silver glass.

I would go like this-
base of orange striker (some people start with a small wrap of clear)
thin coat of clear
Clio- burn off any unplanned reduction, let cool a bit and reduce very lightly
Clear

There's a thread somewhere about the cool effect of Clio and transparent orange turning that pretty blue. You could use it to your advantage, or like the others said, sandwich clear between the two. And DH Aether clear will react with some silver laden glass.
