CIM Cirrus
Hello everyone! Have any of you ever had an issue with etching CIM cirrus?
I made some test beads the other evening. They turned slightly cloudy, which I wanted, then I went to etch them. The first time I etched with an older bottle of regular etch-all. Nothing. I made another few test beads and this time etched them (for 25 minutes) in Arrow Springs' Etching Crystals solution. Nothing again.
Thanks in advance
Duane

If you have access to a tumbler, the crocus is gorgeous! The cirrus looks pretty much the same as tumble-etched clear, IMO.

I have gotten them to etch but had to leave them in 35-40 min.You can use the cirrus as a resist for cool effects as well.

Yeah, I've left them in etch for an hour. They had some spots that were rough after that, but they still weren't etched. Same with Rose Quartz and Blush and DH Pandora.
