Hot Damn ~ Boro-Box 27: All about BORO!
Sign-ups are now closed...
Okay, this is it. No guff, no fooling around - welcome to sign-ups for Boro-Box Round 27! "Round 27", you say? Well, k - I kinda lost track, but am back on track now, and thought it was high time to get our Boro-Box off the ground and running.
So, we're starting fresh here. Sign-ups are open to everyone who's got a good attitude, and love of Boro. Shouldn't have to look too, too far, I reckon.
If you're not familiar with what our game is all about, please feel free to do a search here in this sub-forum, but here it is in a nut-shell.....I take a box, and fill it with Boro glass rods, frit, and related goodies, and send it out to our first Player. That Player then chooses what they'd like - makes a fair and equal trade, and sends our Box onto the next Player. And so on, and so on.....till it finally winds it way back here to me.
Some may know, I've been 'running' these games for the last couple of years here in our happy Boro room, but I admit, I kinda dropped the ball on our last sign-ups, and ultimately - due to - well - let's not drag yucky stuff out here, but due to some less-than-"fun" stuff here and there, I had decided to lay-low for a while, and spend my time elsewhere.
Thing is, I've got oodles and oodles of glass here, just itching to be sent to a new home, so come on and play, play, play...
To sign-up, please e-mail the following to flowerval@citenet.net

Gotchya, gotchya, and gotchya! Thanks for signing-up folks...any more Boro peeps out there ready to play? I'll keep sign-ups open for a few more days, and get things off and running.
Those of you who have played before, or maybe you just read the threads, will know that I like to have little side-games going to keep things light and fun...So...
I've got a 20 gram package of Art Clay Silver up for grabs to the person with the funniest, silliest joke or riddle, as judged by my assistant Ted. (You don't have to be "a Player" to win, so let's hear 'em!

We're rockin' and rollin' along - we've got a super mix of 'old' and new Players ~ I've got a feeling this is going to be another great game. I'm going to keep sign-ups open through the weekend, and then we'll be off to the races!
Thanks for the funnies Bonny, Tanya, and twin - let's keep 'em coming in!

A burglar broke into a house one night. He shined his flashlight around, looking for valuables, and when he picked up a CD player to place in his sack, a strange, disembodied voice echoed from the dark saying, "Jesus is watching you." He nearly jumped out of his skin, clicked his flashlight out, and froze.
When he heard nothing more after a bit, he shook his head, promised himself a vacation after the next big score, then clicked the light on and began searching for more valuables. Just as he pulled the stereo out so he could disconnect the wires, clear as a bell he heard, "Jesus is watching you,"
Freaked out, he shined his light around frantically, looking for the source of the voice. Finally, in the corner of the room, his flashlight beam came to rest on a parrot. "Did you say that?"
He hissed at the parrot.
"Yep," the parrot confessed, then squawked, "I'm just trying to warn you," The burglar relaxed. "Warn me, huh? Who in the world are you?"
"Moses," replied the bird. The burglar laughed. "What kind of people would name a bird 'Moses'?"
"The kind of people that would name a Rottweiler 'Jesus'."

LOL Char! It's hard to believe it's Monday already - somehow there's just never enough time to do all the stuff there is to do! I've got a full week ahead of me, but will be getting the finishing touches on our Box by Thurs/Fri...

I've got things under control here folks, and am happy to say we're now off and running with our game! Here's a list of what I'm going to be sending out latest Tuesday, and I'll announce when I post the tracking info who our lucky first Player is going to be!
I'd like to remind everyone of a few basic 'rules':
Please...
* Insure our Box for $200, and post tracking to the thread
* Make a fair and equal play to keep this as much fun as possible for everyone playing

Are you doing the cut and paste of the list from the person before and mark what you add and take off that list so you always have a running list of what is in the box?
