Vetro. Odd Lot Avocado, Brie, River Rock???
I am really confused with this new glass. I have some of the new Vetrofond Odd Lot Avocado #791-931, and all I can get out of it is a pale greenish yellow. I see lots of beads (that I presume have been made with the same glass) with a sort of "curdled" look - I would love to get that look. Is it a different glass, or just worked differently? What is this "Brie" colour that is referred to sometimes?
Thanks.

Work it hot and long. I get the greenish yellow if I work it somewhat quickly but if you use it on a focal that gets reheated and spends more than 15 minutes in the flame you will see mocha like mottling.

Brie and the odd avocado are the same thing if I am not mistaken.

Hi Ginny
I'm on a hot head and have some of the avocado. I worked with it a couple nites ago and found that if I work it like my ivory I get that nice look!
I work it close and hot......really hot!! It is SO cool.
Have fun!!
Sue
