Default Acceptable Ventilation Fan?

I tried to take into account what Dale has said.
Please forgive me if I'm still not understanding what proper ventilation is if this fan is not a good example...

Using this website, do you see any fans here that would work?

Unfortunately no.
You need way more cfm than the highest rated fan there gives. Usually 700 cfm or higher.

There is a gentleman on ebay who sells this type of fan, same type/style of fan (but more CFM) that Andrea Guarino uses and talks about in her moth wing tutorial. His prices are pretty good and hopefully I will be getting one myself soon.

i'd also check out dayton exhaust fans on ebay, they have different sizes & cfm depending on what you're doing.. here's one:

Actually, there are a couple on that site but not in thes section you were looking at. The cfm's you'll need will depend on your hood size, so you should figure that out first.
