I like how it will strike pink in certain sitations.
First set was with brass lentil tool.
Second set was flashed in and out of the flame while making the dots.
Focals were with tons of heat and marvering (and intense black)

I did get a really bad batch once. It was very light in color and looking at the end of the rod, there was no pink in it. I couldn't get any pinks for anything. since then, whenever I can find the "good stuff" I buy lots.

I don't consider batches like that to be "bad"... I just use it when I don't want or don't care about having the blush. There are times when I just want the lovely ivory-ish color but don't want to use ivory because of reactions.

Very possible Mary Beth! I just use what ever opaque Violet is handy... but when I can't find anything in my own stash I just pull the cheapest one, since they all seem to do the same thing with that light/dark line separation reaction thing
Lovin' the Ocelot Spots beads too, I think I may have some of that frit!

I used OY with all my "Nebula" beads.
I like the way it fumes with silvered glass
Finally, the last bead here is the bead that got me hooked on organics. I made this bead on my HH with my last little bit of the very first orginal OY and no bead has looked like this since. SIGH. I should not have sold it. Can't get these to work on my big girl torch, too hot.
