Default Mixing colours

Does anybody have any good recipes for mixing skin colours. I'm making bald head beads for cancer patients and kids come in all colours.

I have a stash,of Moretti light and dark brown opaque, which I am hoping can be used to mix skin colours. So far, I have tried them with varying amounts of white which equal mud,mud and more mud.

The nice skin colours available all seem to be going for premium prices. I've got all this brown, leftover from making chocolates and candy. Who knows the secret for turning it into suitable colours for a variety of ethnic tones?

Help please,
KMD

Start with your white and add a little bit of brown. The brown is so dark and dense....it is hard to lighten it up
