Effetre Silver Pink...
....I have about 1/2 lb. of this glass, and I cannot seem to get anything out of it rather than a light pinkish/ivory color. Does anyone know the trick of this glass, or even how it is SUPPOSED to look? Thanks!

I find it likes company. By itself it is really boring but with other colors, wow! Try it with black. When striking let it really cool off to almost cracking. I mean like 30 full seconds or more.

That's my favorite base color for my chintzware beads. I think it looks like porcelain after I etch it.

Put Rubino on it.
It's warm and buttery! Here's a set I made with Silver Pink as the base. The other colors are Rubino and Streaky Pink.
I find that Silver Pink goes creamy yellow when you put raised decoration on it. Alone, it's a nice cool ivory color, unless you strike it as described above - at which point you can coax a bit of blushing pink from it. It acts a lot like a pale Opal Yellow.

I don't think there is a color of pink that Kandice can't tame. Beautiful.
