Layer Rings?

Has anyone bought the layer rings from http://www.karenthomas.us/catalog.as...99400&detail=1

And used a ring mandrel to make a screw on ring topper? If so, do you know what size nuts fit?

I just bought a few and I ordered some 2.5mm ring mandrels so I will test the two together and get back to you.
