Cinco de Mayo themed surface painting on beads
May 5/6, 2012 - $425 +$25 kit fee payable to Bronwen
Lunch, mandrels for use in class and some materials provided
It's Cinco de Mayo and who better than Bronwen Heilman
to us surface painting a la Cinco de Mayo?
This is an intermediate class focusing on how to work with enamels and how to apply them. We will be focusing on making core beads, then applying a wet enamel, capturing your own images and ideas.
Day 1: We will be creating core beads. We will also be mixing enamels and getting everything ready to ‘Paint’.
Day 2: Once the core beads have been annealed, we will apply wet enamels and re-fire the beads.

I had the privilege of being her student at Brazee street studios in Cincinnati. She is a lovely person and the experience was one of my favorite classes!

Bronwen is awesome, she taught the reverse painting last time she came to The Mandrel.

I still have open seats for this workshop. 3 seats left and 6 weeks to go before the class...
I can break your class fee into 3 parts if that will help... 3 parts @ $142.00 each
