Default Have You Got A Betta ?

Please help I really need someone to talk to

If you have a Betta, what do you think of it?
Does it melt boro on one oxy-con?
How big can you work with one oxy-con?
What is your oxy-con lpm?
I REALLY WANT ONE!!!

But this is a big money decision, I have questioned Mr Smiley until his fingers fell off answering me and now I want YOUR opinions.

I have one and love it! I worked with it on one oxy-con for several weeks then decided I should have a back-up oxy-con. It worked fine with the one oxy-con (soft glass is all I have) but I think it does better with the 2 oxy-cons. I think I am just getting cleaner O2 is the reason it works better, or it could just be my imiganation. But really it works fine with just one oxy-con! I run both at 2 lpm. I really like the smaller diameter flame (and it is HOT). I used a mid-range burner for a few weeks (big diameter flame) and just hated it.

Thankyou Rose, that really does help. Does anyone else use the Betta with one oxy-con for boro?

I have, but I prefer to use 2 of the 5-lpm concentrators. I tend to do larger beads and small sculptures so I like a little more heat.
