F120 kiln on wood desk?

My first kiln came today and I'm wondering if its okay to put it on a wood desk until I get a metal table for it. The directions say concrete but is it a big deal with an F120 when your just annealing glass?

Get cement paver blocks/stones. Better to be safe then sorry.

I've had my kilns on a wooden desk for 8 years. Just put raise it so that you get some airflow underneath. A brick under each corner will do the trick.

I've put my kiln on ceramic tiles. Cheap and I'm not worried about the heat on my table.
